Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Goodell, in his first state-of-the-league news conference Feb. 2, said he was greatly concerned by the rash of player arrests and off-field misconduct. He and NFL Players Association executive director Gene Upshaw said during Super Bowl week that they would convene a committee or discussion near the NFL combine to ask players about cultural changes that might affect behavior. "We want to listen," Goodell said at the time. ... Houshmandzadeh, a seventh-year wide receiver, is known for his candor and plays for a team hit with nine arrests over the 14 months.
