The Facts:
After an appearance for his charitable foundation yesterday, McNabb spoke to reporters about his rehabilitation from a knee injury, telling them he is satisfied with the progress he had made after being injured Nov. 19. "The leg is getting stronger," he said. "I was running in the pool and am doing some running on land now."

McNabb added, however, he's being cautious. "I have somewhat of a limp and am trying to eliminate that, and I think that just comes from not having run in a while," said McNabb. "It's going to come, and [trainer] Rick Burkholder and those guys have been doing a wonderful job of making sure things are right on course. ..." McNabb also offered his public support for Andy Reid, who is on a leave of absence (until mid-March) due to family issues. McNabb reiterated comments he made during Super Bowl week, saying he hopes backup Jeff Garcia, who will be an unrestricted free agent next month, returns.
