Porter changed his jersey number from 84 to 81. "I am truly honored and excited about changing my number to 81. For me the new number represents a new start, a new beginning and new attitude. I've had multiple meetings with [Lane] Kiffin and I am very excited about the direction of our team and especially our offense. I can't wait to get started," said Porter. Reported by Raiders.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
As noted in last weekend's Fantasy Notebook, there has been considerable speculation surrounding Porter's future in Oakland -- most of it centering on the notion a "disgruntled" Porter will be traded. Doesn't sound, however, like he's especially disgruntled at this point. Stay tuned. We'll be watching Oakland's offense closely this offseason.
