Toomer (knee), DE Michael Strahan (foot), and DE Justin Tuck (foot) are all doing well in their offseason recoveries. Tom Coughlin seemed particularly impressed with Toomer’s recovery, which has been ahead of schedule almost from the start.

Toomer missed the final eight games with torn knee cartilage and at the soon-to-be age of 33, some observers have questioned whether he'll return for a 12th NFL season. Coughlin apparently isn't among the doubters now that it appears Toomer will be ready for the team's first mini-camp, if not the optional off-season workout and conditioning program.
