The Packers confirmed Favre underwent surgery on his ankle Monday. In a statement posted on the team's web site, GM Ted Thompson said: "The procedure went as expected and he is recovering at this time. We expect no complications and that he will be cleared to participate in off-season workouts similar to his schedule in 2006."
