The Facts:
Huard has told FOXSports.com that he has agreed on a three-year deal to remain in Kansas City. Huard would not discuss terms of the deal, but it is believed to be worth about $7.5 million over the life of the deal. "This makes so much sense for me," Huard said. "I already know the system. I love the city."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
So, it appears there will be one less quarterback on the open market this offseason. ... Huard, who filled in last season after Trent Green suffered a severe concussion in the team's opener, started eight games in 2006, leading the Chiefs to a 5-3 mark while compiling a 98.0 passing rating. Remember:
Green's 2007 status remains unclear.
