The Facts:
Griffith appears set to venture into free agency according to his agent Michael McCartney. There has been limited negotiations between the Falcons and the versatile fourth-year running back and both sides seemingly will turn in different directions.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
McCartney said Tuesday he is not completely ruling out Griffith re-signing with Atlanta but he will test the free-agent market for the best financial and playing situations. Griffith's strengths as a receiver, ball carrier and open-field lead blocker are somewhat contrary to the beefy, bulldozing-type of fullback/short-yardage runner new coach Bobby Petrino prefers.
