Alstott's role has decreased the past two seasons. Last year, he rushed 60 times for 171 yards 2.9 average. Excluding 2003 when he had a season-ending neck injury, it marked the second-fewest rushing attempts of his career. He had just 34 carries in 2005 but scored six touchdowns.
