The Facts:
The Vikings have informed Wiggins that he will be released today. Wiggins led the Vikings in receptions in 2004 with 71 and in 2005 with 69. Last season, though, he caught just 46 passes and was felt underutilized in the offense. Wiggins asked for and was granted his release. Reported by the St. Paul Pioneer-Press
