previously noted, the Broncos completed their trade with Tampa in spite of Plummer's threat to retire. According to PFT editor Mike Florio, the latest theory has the Raiders are interested in acquiring Plummer as a short-term starter while expected No. 1 overall pick JaMarcus Russell gets ready to play. However, there's no way that the Raiders and Broncos ever could have done business together. That's where the Bucs come in. ... Interesting. We'll see how it plays out.
