Shaun McDonald, the St. Louis Rams receiver, is reportedly on his way to Detroit for a visit on Monday. If this is true, it means one of two things: The Lions are trying to put some pressure on Kevin Curtis to sign a contract. Or the Lions want both Curtis and McDonald.

If they do indeed sign both, Booth Newspapers and MLive.com beat writer Tom Kowalski suggests the Lions equipment guys will soon be instructed to box up Mike Williams' belongings. ... If Curtis signs and McDonald still comes to town -- whether he signs or not -- it means the Lions (or at least OC Mike Martz) has already planned on life without Williams.
