The Vikings were evaluating Wade in part because Kevin Curtis, who visited Friday and Saturday, appeared to favor the Lions. He arrived Sunday in Detroit, but Monday afternoon, he fired agent Tom Condon and departed the Lions facility. ... In the meantime, the 26-year old Wade is one of the few young players with a history of production who remains available on the free-agent market.
