Johnson has been one of the most prolific pass catching tight ends in the NFL when on the field over the course of the past five seasons. Despite missing the 2003 and 2005 seasons due to unrelated injuries, Johnson has registered 192 receptions for 1,800 yards during his seven year career, including an NFL 82 receptions (best among tight ends) in 2004, when he was the 49ers' primary offensive weapon. A healthy Johnson could be dangerous in this offense.
