It’s official: Jones is a Jet. The former Bear, passed his physical today and signed a contract extension. Financial details weren’t immediately available, but the long-term deal is believed to have $12 million in guarantees.

last night's Roster-Move Roundup, the Jets, filling their need for a No. 1 back, swapped second-round picks with the Bears. The Jets surrendered the highest of their two second-rounders (37th overall) and obtained Chicago’s second-rounder (63rd overall). In other words, the Jets made out pretty darned well here.
