Brad Childress said he envisions Wade as a slot receiver and said that Wade also wants to be involved in the kickoff and punt return teams. Wade joins a receiver group that includes veteran holdovers Troy Williamson and Billy McMullen. The Vikings will continue to look for available receivers throughout the offseason, Childress said, and they have not ruled themselves out of the sweepstakes for Kevin Curtis.
