The Facts:
The Rams brought back a familiar face Wednesday, signing the free agent tight end to a one-year contract. Williams, who hasn't caught a pass in the last two seasons, spent his first three seasons with the Rams and was a part of their Super Bowl-winning team during the 1999 campaign. He received interest from Washington, Tampa Bay and Carolina among others before making the move.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Williams' signing likely means tight end Cameron Cleeland's time with the Rams is over. Williams will probably be the No. 2 tight end behind starter Brandon Manumaleuna.
