According to NFL Network insider Adam Schefter, Denver would have liked to have signed Ramsey, but the situation in Houston gives the quarterback a better chance to play. The Texans are open to trading David Carr for the right price -- yet another player on the trading block -- and Ramsey could find himself competing with Sage Rosenfels for a starting spot.
