Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
So, if Harrington is going to be in the mix for the backup quarterback job with the Panthers, it probably won’t happen right away. As Observer staffer Pat Yasinskas suggests, it's a safe bet the Panthers would want to meet with him face-to-face if they are serious about him, even though they did their homework on him when he was coming out in the 2002 draft and there’s plenty of game film available from Harrington’s days in Detroit and Miami. The team met with former Raider Marques Tuiasosopo on Wednesday. He left town without a contract; it’s unclear if the Panthers made an offer.
