The Facts:
The Packers are scheduled to begin their quarterbacks school on March 19, but may have to do so without their top two signal-callers. Brett Favre is recovering from ankle surgery and Aaron Rodgers is recovering from a broken foot. Favre isn't likely to be healed until May, and Mike McCarthy said he'll be cautious with Rodgers.

"He feels great. If you ask him, he'll say he's ready to go," the coach said of Rodgers. "We just don't want to do anything that's going to create a setback. ..." McCarthy said Favre's is progressing. "He's in constant communication with the training room," McCarthy said. "We feel he's ahead of schedule. ... I think he's getting the stitches out in the next day or so." We're still trying to figure out how much ahead of schedule one can be when the stitches have yet to be removed.
