According to NFL Network insider Adam Schefter, the Lions signed McDonald to a two-year, $2.8 million deal that includes $1.5 million in guaranteed money.

McDonald will be reunited with Lions OC Mike Martz, who drafted him in St. Louis. ... It's still not clear where the other former St. Louis wideout, Kevin Curtis, will land. The Lions, Vikings and Eagles are all interested. Previous reports have indicated that adding McDonald wouldn't keep the Lions from adding Curtis, if possible.
