The Facts:
The Eagles announced Friday morning that they have signed the former Lions backup QB to a two-year contract, once again giving the team three experienced players at the position, and adding some intrigue as to whether McMahon or Koy Detmer will be the No. 2 man behind Donovan McNabb. McMahon is now reunited with Marty Mornhinweg, the former Lions head coach and now an assistant head coach with the Eagles.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
McMahon remembers how a certain backup in Philadelphia took advantage of the chance to get some time as the starter. "I think it's definitely an ideal situation," McMahon said. "You saw what it did for A.J. Feeley. ..." If he means the way Feeley emerged as a lackluster starter in Miami, the answer is yes.
