The Facts:
Among the proposed rules changes to be discussed during next week's NFL Owners Meeting in Phoenix will be revising injury report. Under the new proposal, the "out," "doubtful," "questionable," and "probable" categories will be used only on Friday reports instead of starting Wednesday. On Wednesday and Thursday, the reports will say simply what the injury is; if the injured player participated in practice and if he did, to what extent.

Yikes. That's all we need; a chance for coaches to be even more vague about injuries -- unless the "to what extent" a player practices is reported more accurately and consistently than it has been in the past.
