Hakim, who played for Cam Cameron in San Diego last season, is expected to visit the Dolphins as a free agent this week, possibly as early as today.

Hakim joined the Chargers last December, when Malcom Floyd was injured. A nine-year veteran, Hakim had 17 catches for 147 yards in six games with the Lions last season and none in San Diego. The 5-10 Hakim has 316 receptions for 4,191 yards and 28 touchdowns in 110 career games with the Lions, New Orleans Saints and Rams. He also returned 165 career punts for 1,773 yards and three touchdowns.
