Hakim, who turns 30 years old in June, has 316 career receptions for 4,191 yards and 28 touchdowns. He was cut by the Detroit Lions last season and signed with the Chargers. Hakim, who also returns punts, enjoyed his best season in 2000 when he caught 53 passes for 734 yards and four touchdowns with the St. Louis Rams.
