Miami's brain trust spent part of Thursday speaking with the Texans about Carr and investigating all aspects of a possible trade for the former first overall pick in the 2002 draft. An NFL personnel official with interest in the situation said the Oakland Raiders and Minnesota Vikings also had shown interest in Carr.
