Bengals WRs Chatman, Perry On The Mend
(3/23 9:53 PT)

The Facts:
Marvin Lewis pointed Thursday to the start of the Bengals' offseason strength program, April 2, and the first on-field day, May 15, and said he expects to have many of his injured players cleared to practice. WR Antonio Chatman, who was placed on injured reserve Oct. 27 with a groin injury, already has been cleared. Fellow receiver Perry, the team's top kickoff return man who went on IR Oct. 20 with a hip injury, is expected to be cleared medically before May 15. Reported by the Chicago Tribune

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Perry had surgery to address hip injuries suffered at the end of the Week 2 game against Cleveland. Perry has been running, Lewis said, and could be ready for the start of on-field work. ... As previously noted, RB Chris Perry is questionable for the start of training camp after suffering a "serious" ankle injury and undergoing surgery. But it's not for lack of effort. "He's working his tail off," Lewis said.
