Dolphins GM Randy Mueller said Miami bringing another potential starting caliber QB doesn't necessarily bode poorly for Culpepper, but neither did he guarantee Culpepper's job with Miami for next season. "We're trying to get better, whether it's at QB or offensive line or receiver, we're trying to get better," he said. "I do know this, if Daunte is healthy he's a really good player in this league and that's a proven fact."

Meanwhile, the team is still interested in trading for Chiefs QB Trent Green and Mueller confirmed an earlier report that the Dolphins were investigating going after former Texan David Carr while stopping short of saying that interest is keen.
