Oakland HC Lane Kiffin said this morning that he believes Moss will remain with the Raiders. Asked if he had a gut feeling about Moss' immediate future, Kiffin said: "I think he'll be on our team this year," Kiffin said. "I do."

Moss has been the subject of rampant trade rumors this offseason, which most notably have suggested he could go to the Packers. Of course, as Star Tribune staffer Kevin Seifert suggested, Kiffin could simply be posturing in an effort to keep Moss' value as high as possible. On the other hand, Kiffin might not know what he's getting into with Moss, who Seifert called a "one-of-a-kind contrarian." Kiffin, 31, might think he can connect with Moss in a way previous coaches have not.
