The Facts:
The tailback-rich Jaguars retained some of their wealth at the position on Wednesday, re-signing Toefield, an unrestricted free agent to a one-year, $800,000 contract that returns him to the team that brought him into the league.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
As ESPN.com insider Len Pasquarelli suggested, the retention of Toefield was somewhat surprising, in that the Jag already have Fred Taylor and Maurice Jones-Drew, who combined for 2,087 yards in 2006, locked in as their top two RBs. ... But the Jaguars wanted Toefield to return and he failed to generate significant interest from others teams. So Toefield returns with the knowledge that he can go back into the free-agent market again next spring. Toefield actually rejected a multi-year proposal from the Jaguars in favor of the one-year deal.
