The former Raven has suffered through two down seasons after catching 61 passes in 2002. He was the 10th overall choice in the 2000 draft, however, so there is presumably talent beneath the statistical futility.

Taylor is among a few receivers under consideration by the Seahawks. Rod Gardner is another, although the Redskins want a draft choice in return, and Gardner is entering the final year of his contract. The Seahawks are seeking insurance at the position in part because off-field problems have turned 2001 first-round pick Koren Robinson into a high-risk option.
