The Facts:
Gates was arrested early this morning after kicking a pregnant woman’s door in, destroying two televisions and a couple of doors, hitting her in the face and pushing her into a wall after arguing about whether he is the father of the woman’s unborn child, according to an arrest report filed by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. Gates ran away after the incident, deputies say.

Gates was a seventh-round pick of the Bills out of Louisville in 2005. He spent his entire rookie season on the inactive roster but was inactive for 15 games and did not play in the game for which he dressed. He joined Tampa Bay's practice squad last September.
