The Facts:
At February's NFL Scouting Combine, Bears coaches and GM Jerry Angelo said Hester would be used more on offense than last year. Hester was on the field for one offensive play in 2006. They also hinted Hester might make a complete switch to offense. Now there is some hesitancy about converting Hester to offense. "Right now we'll just say that we're still in discussion on about exactly where he will play, but wherever he plays he'll get his hands on the football more," Lovie Smith said.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Apparently the best way to deploy Hester in 2007 remains a difficult decision chiefly because the Pro Bowl kick returner wants to play defense rather than offense. Unfortunatley, Hester wasn't impressive as a CB last year while Charles Tillman and Nathan Vasher nursed late-season injuries. Meanwhile, Hester did play some RB and WR at the University of Miami and Smith told reporters Saturday: "We've had discussions about him playing all of those positions. It makes sense.
