The Facts:
The Panthers met with Harrington on Wednesday night following his arrival in Charlotte. Harrington is expected to meet at length with coaches and team officials Thursday, but there appears to be no rush to get a deal done.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
At this point, Harrington has no other visits set up, but league sources tell Gazette reporter Steve Reed the QB would like to explore his options. The Panthers are the first team Harrington has visited with since being released by the Dolphins. He’s spent much of the free agency signing period on his honeymoon and just returned earlier this week. On Tuesday, the Panthers met free agent David Carr, the top pick in 2002 NFL draft, but he left town without a contract. Both are considered candidates to backup Jake Delhomme.
