The Facts:
Jeff Fisher said he thought Givens, who suffered a season-ending ACL injury last year, would return for the team's pre-season preparations. "That's what we expect and that's been the track record," the coach said. "Those who have suffered injuries in the middle part of the season or even the latter part of the season have been able to come back at some point in training camp."

Fisher said wideout would continue to be a position of interest this offseason, however he said he was optimistic about the players already on the roster -- including Givens. "We have high expectations for Brandon [Jones]," Fisher said. "Roydell [Williams] and Courtney [Roby] certainly took big steps last year and we expect them to continue to improve. We're optimistic that they will return at full speed. We also added Justin [Gage], so we've got a good group and we're just going to continue to add to it. ..." Givens would certainly add much-needed veteran experience to that crew.
