The Browns are alive in the pursuit of Green, GM Phil Savage said this morning. "The situation is probably somewhere between having a pulse and being able to walk," Savage said on the Browns' AM radio flagship, WTAM.

According to Repository staffer Steve Doerschuk, Savage, who first
confirmed his interest in Green last week, explained the starting point in the pursuit of Green is negotiating a "ballpark'' contract that would entice the veteran QB to visit the Browns complex to gauge his willingness to playing in Cleveland. Savage added the situation might not be resolved one way or the other until draft day, April 28.
