The Facts:
Crumpler had arthroscopic surgery on his left knee last Friday, the team disclosed Tuesday -- the first day of new HC Bobby Petrino's first three-day mini-camp. Crumpler was not in attendance. The procedure was to repair minor damage and to clear out debris, the team said. No timetable was given for his return.

While the situation bears watching, Crumpler, who led the Falcons with 56 receptions for 780 yards and a career-high 8 touchdowns, has been bothered by problems with his left knee for two seasons and was frequently held out of at least one practice a week during the season to ease wear and tear. ...
