Davis, 27, played in 16 games for Buffalo last season, catching two passes for 13 yards. Davis also has played for Cleveland and New England in his career. He has 104 receptions for 1,615 yards and 14 touchdowns in 64 games. As previously noted, Davis has the speed to fill a need in Houston, a team without much depth behind No. 1 receiver Andre Johnson.
