The Raiders have been talking with Lions GM Matt Millen about trading for Josh McCown, who has fallen on Mike Martz's depth chart. There was even word that Davis offered disgruntled receiver Randy Moss to Detroit in any McCown trade.

As FOXSports insider John Czarnecki notes, there's no doubt that Moss wants out of Oakland, believing that the Raiders, especially if they draft a rookie quarterback and with a rookie head coach in Lane Kiffin, won't be competing for a playoff spot in the next couple of seasons given the quality of the AFC West's top teams, San Diego and Denver. There is, however, considerable doubt the Lions, especially hard-nosed HC Rod Marinelli, would have much interest in adding Moss to their roster.
