Marvin Lewis Addresses Chris Perry's Health
(3/17 11:7 PT)

The Facts:
The coach finally broke his silence on Perry, who appeared in just two games last season due to, first, a ham-string injury and then what turned out to be a sports hernia. According to Lewis, Perry has had offseason surgery to correct the hernia, but he dismissed rumors suggesting more damage was found.  Reported by FootballDiehards.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
"Chris Perry is fine. Everything is fine. The doctors said they did everything they had to do," said Lewis. "We don't know where he'll be in regards to doctor's clearance (when the team's offseason conditioning program begins on April 4), but when it's time to be on the field in June, supposedly, he'll be ready." Whatever the case, Rudi Johnson is the Bengals' No. 1 ball carrier. Perry will have to develop into a different role.
