Adam Caplan of Scout.com reports that Turner, a restricted free agent, has signed his one-year tender with the San Diego Chargers.

Tendered at a first- and third-round level, Turner's 2007 salary will be $2.35 million. He is no longer allowed to negotiate with other teams, but the Chargers could trade him. If no deal is made, Turner will remain in San Diego this year and become an unrestricted free agent in 2008. ... Turner visited Tennessee and Buffalo earlier this month, but according to Caplan, a deal hinges upon either team surrendering a first round pick in this or next year's NFL Draft.
