The Facts:
GM Mike Reinfeldt said the Titans are still interested in trading for Turner. On Thursday, Turner signed his tender offer from the Chargers. Players have to be signed and under contract for a trade to be completed. Conversations with Turner's agent, Bus Cook, are at a point where a contract could be reached pretty quickly, Reinfeldt said, as long as the Titans and Chargers are able to agree on compensation.

But as the Tennessean noted, agreeing to a trade is another matter. The Chargers are still believed to be asking for a first-round pick, and the Titans won't give up that much. If the Chargers are willing to take a second-round pick, indications are the deal could happen. ... Stay tuned.
