According to Cleveland Plain Dealer beat writer Tony Grossi, Edwards’ name has been floated to gauge interest in a trade.

Grossi further suggests that if Calvin Johnson somehow is on the board when the Browns’ pick at No. 3, they would take him. Grossi added: "He won’t be. ..." Nor, we suspect, will Edwards be playing anywhere but Cleveland this fall.
