Marvin Lewis Says Peter Warrick Will Return
(3/17 5:27 PT)

The Facts:
Rumors that the Bengals would release Warrick have circulated since the veteran receiver suffered a pair of leg injuries and was put on the injured reserve list during the past season. But, Lewis said, Warrick will be back. "Peter has a contract," the coach said on Wednesday. "I don't anticipate anything being different." Warrick has one year remaining on a six-season contract that will pay him a base salary of $2.28 million. Reported by the Cincinnati Enquirer

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Of course, something will be different: Warrick's role. With Chad Johnson and T.J. Houshmandzadeh, who received a four-year contract during the first week of free agency, penciled in as the starters, Warrick and Kelley Washington both have to be wondering how they might be used this fall.
