According to his
NFL.com scouting report, the 6-2, 218-pound Peterson is blessed with a perfect blend of size, speed, strength and field vision. Most observers believe recent reports of ongoing issues with a collarbone first injured last October caused him to fall out of the top-five. It would appear the Vikings aren't buying into those concerns. Perhaps the fact productive starter Chester Taylor sits atop a depth chart that also includes Mewelde Moore and Ciatrick Fason helped overcome any short-term worries.
