With the 44th pick in the 2007 NFL Draft -- the 12th pick in Round 2, the Vikings select South Carolina's Rice. Reported by FootballDiehards.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
According to his NFL.com scouting report, the 6-4, 202-pound Rice has excellent hands, catching almost every ball thrown to him. He needs route refinement and has some tightness in his hips, but working down the sidelines, he will make the plays deep in the opponent's secondary. Given Minnesota's lack of depth at wideout, Rice will compete for playing time this summer.
