The Facts:
Horn is expected to be one of the few no-shows when the Saints open their offseason conditioning program Monday. Horn has threatened to hold out until he receives a new long-term contract extension. Horn is entering the final year of a three-year extension he signed in 2003. His agent, Ralph Vitola, has exchanged proposals with general manager Mickey Loomis on a five-year deal but the sides are apart in the amount of guaranteed money included in the first three years of the contract.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Horn went public with hs complaints shortly after the Saints paid him a $1 million roster bonus on Mar. 18 (team officials asked him to delay that bonus, but he reportedly refused). ... It should be noted that running back Deuce McAllister is facing a similar contract situations but is still expected to report Monday and participate in the workout program.
