The Giants have re-signed Palmer to a two-year, $1.5 million contract. Palmer last season served as the No. 3 quarterback as Eli Manning and Kurt Warner split time as the starter. Given that he's younger and healthier than newcomer Jim Miller, Palmer will likely get the chance to win the No. 2 job ahead of Miller, who signed for the veteran minimum $765,000 and received a signing bonus of $25,000.
