The Facts:
GM Phil Savage said a couple of teams inquired about trading for Frye, but the Browns decided not to let him go. "Teams see we have four quarterbacks now, but we feel like Charlie has value to us," Savage said. "He's the incumbent. Upstairs we said, 'It's the first time we've had legitimate depth at quarterback -- let's hold onto it for a while and see what happens here.'"

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Savage said the Browns will bring in all four quarterbacks, including Brady Quinn, Derek Anderson and Ken Dorsey, and let them compete. Offensive coordinator Rob Chudzinski said he's spent time with Frye and that Frye is up for the challenge. "However all these things go, I want it to be a competitive situation," Chudzinski said. "I think the competition will make him better and he feels like it will make him better. ..." But it might also make him unemployed. Stay tuned.
