The Facts:
The Packers addressed an acute need at wide receiver over the weekend by drafting a pair: James Jones of San Jose State and David Clowney of Virginia Tech. Barring some unforeseen development in the months to come, though, the biggest contribution either player is likely to make on offense in his rookie season will be as the No. 3 wideout behind starters Donald Driver and Greg Jennings.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Jones and Clowney enter the fray for the No. 3 job at a spot that features plenty of bodies but no established playmakers. The No. 3 receiver heading into last season, seventh-year man Robert Ferguson, is coming off a foot injury that limited him to just five catches for 31 yards and a touchdown. Another possible option, Koren Robinson. Ruvell Martin, who closed 2006 as the Packers' No. 3, finished with 21 catches for 358 yards and a touchdown. Two other candidates worth noting are Carlyle Holiday, whose size and hands intrigue the Packers, and Shaun Bodiford.
