a previous item. ... WVEC-TV reports that neighbors of Vick's Virginia home where evidence of dog fighting was found last week claim that the Falcons QB is at the property "once every few months." Last week, Vick (the undisputed owner of the property) said that he never goes there, and he blamed family members for the apparent dog-fighting operation.

The WVEC report further notes that complaints of dog fighting at the property were made as earlier as 2005. Based on this report, PFT editor Mike Florio suggest that it remains to be seen whether the complaints were investigated, or whether the situation was brushed under the rug because of the fame and celebrity of the owner of the land. ...
